Terms of use
Last updated
These terms govern your use of this website and its documentation. They do not govern the OGuardAI software, which is licensed under its own terms.
Scope
These terms apply to this website and the documentation it hosts. They do not cover the OGuardAI software itself. OGuardAI is proprietary software, self-hostable and licensed for enterprise and on-premise use, and it is governed by its own licence terms; see the licensing documentation. Where these website terms and a signed agreement or the software licence conflict, that agreement or licence prevails for the subject it covers.
Documentation provided as is
The documentation, code samples, and guidance on this site are provided for information as is, without warranty of any kind. They may change without notice. We do not warrant that the documentation is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose, and following it does not by itself establish legal or regulatory compliance. Nothing on this site is legal, compliance, or professional advice, and using it creates no advisory relationship.
Intellectual property
The name OGuardAI, the Oronts brand, the site design, and the content of this site are owned by Oronts GmbH or its licensors and are protected by law. Code samples in the documentation may be used to work with OGuardAI under the applicable software licence. Other use of the content beyond the limits of copyright requires our prior written consent.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- probe, scan, overload, or otherwise abuse any endpoint of this site, including any
/apiroute or the request form; - attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems;
- use automated means to place a disproportionate load on the site;
- submit unlawful, misleading, or malicious content through the request form.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their data handling. Following an external link is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage to life, body, or health, as well as under mandatory statutory provisions. For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual duty, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of use. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by German law. This clause does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and, where applicable, the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence. Where you act as a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms is München, Germany.
Severability
If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes or as legal review completes. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
